I saw online that this restaurant offers Thali. Is that offered at dinner times or is it just a lunch item?

Tandoori Fusion might be my favorite restaurant in Louisville. I've never been a big Indian food fan as I am kind of a wimp when it comes to spicy food. Tandoori fusion has a scale and I have never had food that is too spicy for my preferences there. But I order accordingly. All the food is made fresh and you can tell as it is not greasy. It is very very well, seasoned and very flavorful. I try to order new foods and dishes when I go, though I have my favorites; Butter Chicken, Hyderabadi Chicken Dum Biryani, Samosas, Chicken tikka kebab, Tandoor, okay my list is lengthy. The more I type this review, the more I want to go there this weekend!
Service is super unique....of course, you could have a human deliver your food but sometimes you get a robot and that is the by far the coolest food delivery I have seen. And let me tell you, my nieces and nephews love it too!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Jan 11, 2024
My wife and I decided to meet up at this Indian restaurant which was in area of Costco on Brownsboro Road. We've been disappointed with others post-pandemic. We're use to great Indian food in St Louis. This restaurant did not disappoint. Lassi was mango and not too sweet with hint of Chai. The palak Paneer was plentiful with lots of cheese cubes. The tiki Masala (wish it had more chicken in it though) was very good with cubed chicken pieces . We ordered Garlic Nann plus meals came with balsamic Rice. Before tip, cost was approx $40 which was good deal considering we had plenty for take home. More balsamic rice was also offered at no additional charge. The fun part was the Robot that brought meals out to table than placed by one of the employees. Definitely bring the kids next time so they can talk to
The "Terminator." The future is here and "skynet" will eventually rule our lives. LolHelpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Sadie L.Lexington, KY23743Mar 5, 2024
Friendly staff upon entering the restaurant. The menu is rather large, so if you are unfamiliar with Indian food I would recommend looking up the menu first before you get there. We ended up seeing this dish on another customer's table and asked for the same. Everything was delicious! Highly recommend.

Where do I begin?! The atmosphere is clean and charming. Their "Farm-to-Table" approach makes the recipes used not only authentic but full of fresh ingredients.
Amy (Amritha) was cheerful, attentive and full of recommendations as we perused their expansive menu.
From the Mango lassie (smoothie) and samosas as appetizers, all the way through the dessert choices, taste was paramount.
The restaurant even uses a robot assistant to bring out food items when they're busy!
We have tried several of their fusion dishes, but the old and familiar standards keep bringing us back to sing their praises. :)Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Casey R.Louisville, KY483310Dec 29, 2023
This restaurant is AMAZING! True Indian cuisine, made with the freshest ingredients and spices. Whether I carry out or eat in, it is always a 5 star experience. The employees are gracious and welcoming, like you were a guest in their own home. I'm so happy to have found this about 2 years ago. I won't go anywhere else for Indian food!

Great atmosphere and delicious food!! I love it and customer service was very nice. They had a neat cute machine that brings your food to you. It is now my favorite restaurant after trying it.

First let me say the food was good. We got butter chicken, Chana masala and the combo naan. Spice level three which was good for the the chickpeas but we could have gone higher on the chicken for the same level of heat.
And the food was delivered by the cute little robot- so there's that.
When we came in there were two tv's on and Indian pop music playing on the speakers- we were seated in-front of the tv playing the biggest loser. THE BIGGEST LOSER is crap tv in most situations but 100% inappropriate for dining- especially the first episodes of the season where contestants are routinely pushed to the point of being physically ill in the gym. I asked if the tv channel could be changed because it was not appropriate for dining and was told " No. This is the only channel this tv gets."
Wow. Ok.
When I requested the channel change there was only one other person dining in the restaurant. It isn't like I asked them to turn off a tournament game or the Bollywood channel...
I could easily go on a tangent about the above mentioned show- but that really isn't the point.
Admittedly-it has been a couple of years since we have eaten at Tandori Fusion -largely because my last experience involved soap iced tea. I got the impression there has been yet another owner change because the menu was not much on fusion and heavy on traditional Indian fare- which is fine but- I already have my favorites for that.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

Tandoori has become our favorite place to go for indian food. The menu works for ages 3 to 93. Our discovery to night is the Chai Marsala tea. Yum! I had a paneer (cheese) dish and she had chicken in a curry sauce.
Our server answered our questions and helped make it a delightful experience.
Try it, you'll like it!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Angelwife H.Alpharetta, GA15661Aug 9, 2023
We ate here two out of three nights during our visit to Louisville. They promote Farm to Tanle which I cannot confirm, but the food is outstanding. The restaurant is clean. And both our servers were excellent and accommodating to special requests. One night we ordered full tandoori chicken, Goat Gongura (South Indian specialty), and veg dish of bhindi (okra). Second night we ate lamb saag and goat biryani. Everything tasted authentic and spice level just as we ordered. All would be ordered again except perhaps Gongura which was not as tasty as other goat curries we've had, but that's a personal preference. I also love the clean bottle of water placed on each table. This place is a must if you want to try Indian food for the first time, or if you've eaten Indian food all over the world like we have.
