“Serve the guest or someone who does” is our core belief at Thorntons LLC. Paige Foster suggested we give local bus drivers donuts for breakfast tomorrow. Our bakery, food, and Ops teams jumped to action. Today we delivered nearly 1,000 donuts, fresh off the line, and freebie coupons to 18 bus depots for over 600 bus drivers and the support staff that makes the fleet run. Who better to serve than those that serve our community’s children? Huge appreciation to these folks for making it happen… Paige, Ron, Vonicquia Tavay, Ashley, Adrian, Alex, Krystal, Julie, and Elena !!

The Thorntons team spent Saturday working the 174th annual St. Joseph Children's Home picnic. St. Joe’s works with children who have been removed from their homes because they have experienced severe abuse and neglect. Thorntons LLC has added a fuel discount to its Refreshing Rewards loyalty program, which includes 5 cents off per gallon if loyalty members use their rewards card when fueling up. They will also receive Flash Fuel offers each week, which can give up to 20-cent discounts. The program has a cap of 35 gallons. Louisville, Kentucky-based Thorntons is the latest c-store retailer augmenting its loyalty program with new features as the industry increasingly looks to leverage the data and brand-building these programs can bring. https://lnkd.in/gcshj4wi
